Please play it safe and keep the following in mind while chatting at ChatToons:
1) ALWAYS tell your parents or guardians what you are doing!
If you're using ChatToons, they'll want to know. Then you can show them how it works and why you like spending time here. Remember if they have any questions, you can direct them to these 'Safe Chat' Tips.
2) NEVER reveal any PERSONAL information about yourself!
Never tell anyone your home or work address, cell or telephone number, or even your email address. Please make sure you follow this rule at all times !
3) NEVER agree to meet anyone in the 'real world'!
Never meet anyone you've only known online - you can never tell what someone is like, even if they appear to be a nice person in the online world. So be careful, and don't take any chances by meeting in the 'real world'.
4) NEVER talk to anyone who upsets you!
If someone is disturbing you in any way, just leave the ChatToons 'world' they are in, or log off. If someone continues to bother you, please report them to us by email or by using the contact form. Don't worry about reporting someone. We'll never tell them who did the right thing and told us about their inappropriate behavior !
5) NEVER engage in sexual activity in ChatToons!
Simulating sex in the ChatToons environments (sometimes called 'cybering') is not allowed. So if someone wants you to cyber, send us an email with their User ID - you will remain completely anonymous. That person will be banned if they receive two strikes from two different people. It's not your fault when someone is rude, so you don't have to be concerned about telling - it's the best thing for everybody.
